Hakan's Quest to Get Buzzed – Part 2
This continues the questline from Part 1, and is available after defeating the first Boss and gaining access to the cellar.

- Defeat the first demon boss
- Have access to the tavern cellar
Quest Overview
If you've ever asked Hakan what he does at the tavern (provided you've found the bull tribe village!), even if you failed the strength check (needs an impressive 8 STR!), the next time you talk to him, he'll ask you to help him get truly drunk.
Snow will tell you more (ask about "Hakan's quest"): you need to get a flower from a very dangerous tree monster. Getting a dragon tipsy is easy, right?
Preparation
Snow has prepared protection for you: go to Chet, who will give you a very useful set of "slime gel armor" (high defense buff effective only for this tree boss fight), while the tavern friends will laugh as they watch him coat that gel... very carefully... all over your body from head to toe.
Note
This isn't an actual item, more like a temporary buff for this battle.
This is also a good time to talk to Snow about "how long everyone's been here" - there's a stat check here: needs INT ≥ 6.
Combat Strategy
There are two ways to fight:
- Standard approach: Take the slime gel armor
- Hardcore approach: If you talked to Chet and refused his help, you can go without it
Go west of the tavern, to the area where you fought the demon, smell the flower Snow gave you first, then continue west to search.
Boss Fight: Tree Monster
- HP: 300
- Special: Immune to lust
- Attack: If you don't have slime gel armor, it hits very hard
High STR builds will still have an easier time here; due to its high burst damage, you might prefer using "red potions" for instant healing.
Rewards
- If you choose to win without the gel armor, you'll get an extra +2 upgrade points!
- Regardless, you get 800 EXP
Quest Completion
Return to Snow to report (ask about "Hakan's quest" again), then sit down with Hakan to celebrate. The real reward is the following storyline (though there's no sex this time, but life isn't just about sex, you horny beast).
Hakan will then sleep for 3 days, and on the 4th day he'll still be hungover (see "Hakan's Thank You").
If you lose to the tree monster instead, you'll unlock a CG sex scene, but this still counts as a bad ending (better than getting stabbed in the chest though...).
